Is this the same as rib removal?
No. We don’t remove anything. The procedure gently reshapes the lower ribs using ultrasonic technology, allowing them to heal in their new position.
Is it safe?
Yes. Only the lowest two ribs are involved – these have no essential structural function and sit below the lungs. Published research shows a very low complication rate.
How long do results last?
Results are permanent. Once your ribs heal in their new position, your waist shape is maintained for life with stable weight.
What's recovery like?
Walking from day 0 and fit-to-fly 48 hours after the procedure. Most return to desk work about a week after getting back to Australia. Avoid gym, strenuous exercise, and chest-impact or manual work for 3 months. Compression is worn for a minimum of 10 weeks, with 12 weeks recommended, 24/7 and only off to shower.
